Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and expectations for using Texas Arms Exchange™. Violations may result in listing removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

1. Prohibited Items

The following items may not be listed on Texas Arms Exchange:

  • Items prohibited by federal, state, or local law
  • Stolen property or items with altered/obliterated serial numbers
  • Unregistered NFA items (suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, AOWs without proper stamps)
  • Machine guns manufactured after May 19, 1986
  • Explosives, grenades, or destructive devices
  • Chemical or biological weapons or agents
  • Items intended to convert semi-automatic firearms to fully automatic
  • Body armor with the intent to use in criminal activity
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Counterfeit or replica items misrepresented as genuine

2. Prohibited Conduct

  • Illegal sales: Selling firearms to prohibited persons (felons, domestic violence offenders, persons under indictment, etc.)
  • Fraud: Posting fake listings, misrepresenting items, or failing to deliver items after payment
  • Harassment: Threatening, abusing, or intimidating other users
  • Spam: Posting duplicate listings, irrelevant content, or unsolicited promotional material
  • Manipulation: Creating fake accounts, inflating view counts, or gaming search results
  • Impersonation: Representing yourself as another person, dealer, or law enforcement
  • Privacy violations: Sharing other users' personal information without consent

3. Listing Standards

  • Listings must accurately describe the item being offered
  • Photos must be of the actual item (no stock photos unless clearly labeled)
  • Prices must be genuine (no bait-and-switch)
  • One listing per item — no duplicate posts
  • Listings must be placed in the correct category
  • Sold items should be marked as sold or removed promptly

4. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, please report it using the Report button on any listing or user profile, or contact us at support@texasarmsexchange.com. We review all reports promptly.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove any listing that violates this AUP
  • Issue warnings for first-time or minor violations
  • Suspend accounts for repeated or serious violations
  • Permanently ban users for severe violations or illegal activity
  • Report illegal activity to law enforcement

6. Changes

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
